Functional fitness exercises train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work, or in sports. While using various muscles in the upper and lower body at the same time, functional fitness exercises also emphasize core stability.

I started my journey at 276 lbs and out of shape. I always thought of myself as a "strong" person. I had been in an out of almost every gym in Casper, but never really found a place I felt comfortable with.  When I started Caliber in January of 2017, I quickly realized I was not as "strong" as I thought, mentally or physically.  After spending time with the Caliber coaches and Caliber community I was given the support and knowledge to push on and began to truly see success. I found out that being "strong" had nothing to do with how much I could lift or press, but rather my discipline with nutrition and my connection with the gym. The Caliber community made it possible for me to be successful and to date I have lost 88lbs, competed in five competitions, and earned first place in two.
